Hillary Clinton is admittedly not a techno savvy individual. But her recent comments on her private email server show her naivety. In defending the home server, Hillary said it was secure because it was guarded by the Secret Service.
By that, she means that the physical machine was in her home that is guarded by the Secret Service. It does not mean that the agents were computer experts who monitored the server for breaches.
Does she think that hackers would have snuck into her home to physically search the server?
Would the Russians peer in to her window while the Secret Service agents took a lunch break?
The Secret Service could have been staring at her server 24/7 and would not necessarily know of a breach.
The system was maintained by former campaign workers who had no security clearance. During the first several months that Hillary was Secretary of State, the server was maintained by a n employee of her Political Action Committee.
And we know from emails that the system occasionally malfunctioned.
Either Hillary is dumber than we think or does she think we are the dumb ones who would fall for her nutty explanation?
