FBI Seizes Pagliano’s Computer
As each batch of Hillary’s emails was released by the State Department, we noticed something very curious: There were NO emails to or from Bryan Pagliano, Hillary’s IT man, the one who set up and maintained her private home email server in Chappaqua that she used for all of her State Department business.
Now, that’s odd, isn’t it?
The person in charge of Hillary’s emails never used email.
Is that really possible? Or were emails deleted by the only person who had complete access and the technical skills to manipulate Hillary’s server?
Apparently the FBI is wondering the same thing. This week, it seized Pagliano’s computer after the State Department notified them that they could not find any of Pagliano’s email files for the years that he worked for Hillary at the State Department.
Watch out Hillary.
The FBI does not fool around. They will likely find some, if not all, of Pagliano’s emails from 2009-2012, as well as a trail of any deletions that were made on the server. They are likely looking to see if any classified emails were originally on the server and then disappeared.
Interestingly, the State Department has confirmed that it has Pagliano’s files for the years AFTER Hillary’s tenure, but not during her entire time at State.
So what happened to the ones the FBI wanted to see? It sure looks like someone removed all of Pagliano’s files from 2009 through 2012. And maybe more.
Pagliano is the one person who knows everything about how the unorthodox server was set up and whether anything was deleted. Someone told him to set it up for use at the State Department and someone also told him who to assign email addresses to Hillary and Huma Abedin. Who was that? And what else did they tell him?
Pagliano isn’t talking. He invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and refused to testify before the Benghazi Committee. And he has had nothing to say to the FBI.
What exactly is the potential criminal liability that he allegedly fears?
Remember that Pagliano was not just a low-level bureaucrat who was assigned to Hillary on tech issues. She brought him in to the State Department and paid him close to $140,000 a year to maintain her personal server that was not accessible by other State Department employees.
To put this in perspective, Hillary’s salary as Secretary of State at that time in 2009 was $146,910, – just $16,000 more than Pagliano was paid!
Prior to joining Hillary at the State Department, Pagliano worker in her 2004 campaign and for HILLPAC, her political action committee. He made less than $60,000 in those jobs.
So why did Pagliano get such a big increase and such a big promotion?
Obviously, his job was an important one and he was well compensated.
And, according to an “anonymous campaign official,” the Clintons also privately paid for his work on the server that was also used by Bill and Chelsea Clinton and Bill’s aides. Why anonymous?
They claim to have paid him $5000 before he went to the State Department and unspecified sums while he worked there, but this claim is highly suspicious.
Why would the Clintons pay him even more? They are not exactly known for being generous with their money, preferring “OPM” — other people’s money — whenever feasible. And, in fact, HILLPAC, Hillary’s repository for her political hacks, paid Pagliano 15,861.67 from January until April, 2009 — right before he joined the State Department. So why would they pay even more money?
If the Clintons were going to personally pay for their private use of his services for the family, shouldn’t they have reimbursed the State Department for the use of Pagliano’s time for their personal business? He was a full-time employee, receiving full-time pay and benefits. And yet part of his government-paid work was servicing the Clinton family and Bill Clinton’s aides.
The Clinton tax returns are inconclusive as to whether their claim that they actually paid him anything. It would be odd if they did.
It looks like Pagliano holds the key to the server. Let’s see if the FBI gets him to open it.
